“I consulted Earth Electric about getting Solar Panels. Sheryl communicated better than any of the other Solar agents I dealt with, both in terms of communicating as human to human, and thoroughness of information. She gave good quotes, and sent detailed information about the solar panels, micro-inverters and projected capacity. They offer Panasonic panels and Enphase micro-inverters, which are among the top of the line. She also sent the California Solar Consumer Protection Guide, which one has to read and sign off on before signing a contract. I was glad to be able to read it at my leisure, rather than have this 24 page document put in front of me at the moment of signing, as some other companies do. I actually went with another company because we had started the discussion with them and things progressed faster. But I am sure that if you go with Earth Electric you will be getting the best.”

The team members that came out to do the estimate were friendly, articulate, and patient again (with our questions). The prices were comparable to other bids, a bit higher now post-pandemic but we trusted this company to serve us well. The installation was smooth and efficient. They took care of all the permits, inspections, etc, and we were informed at each step. Sheryl worked hard for our sale but now EE is up and running and saving us money.

“After a terrible experience the last time I tried to install rooftop solar+battery (see my reviews) I decided to prioritize finding a local company with a good reputation. With Earth Electric I wasn’t disappointed. Everyone I dealt with from the CEO down was extremely professional, helpful, and communicative. They helped me navigate the NEM 3 changes and ensure the install happened in time before the switch. They seamlessly and at a very reasonable cost handled a fairly major change in location post-install start when we realized the initial location was incompatible with some future changes I had planned for the house. They found a creative and lightweight solution with a sun shade to prevent direct sunlight on the batteries. The solar/battery install and accompanying electrical work was solid, and the city inspector was impressed with the quality. Highly recommended!”

“I chose Earth Electric because my neighbor had used them. I’m very pleased with the job they did. We had a little issue associated with an integrated charger, but they dealt with it promptly and replaced the cable. One thing I would have liked (so mentioning here for others) would have been to add an adjustment to the mounting so that I could change the angle in the winter to collect more sun. That might be more pain than gain, but is something I thought about after the project. I traded off a low profile with visibility from street. On the very positive side, it is nice not paying for electricity to PG&E. Team was professional and prompt.”

“It’s been six years and recently lost solar power. Karla and Sheryl quickly had someone take a look and concluded I needed a new inverter, all under warranty. In a week’s time, it was replaced at no cost. Fantastic service, thanks again! As for the original install back in 2016, still very happy. They were the only company that came up with a sound approach that considered where the sun would beat down on the inverter. Great engaged service, patient with all my questions.”
